I wrote this response to you a few minutes ago and then it disappeared.
I'll try again and will save every couple of sentences.

I'm still sticking with XP because I have so many programs that won't work
with the new versions.

I checked the Display Setting and the picture shows the proper number on
the correct monitors but when I click identify the numbers appear on the
wrong monitors. This is so strange because it was fine until yesterday and
I don't think it happened when I booted up but sometime during the day.

I then went to NVIDIA Control Panel (instead of typing this out I'll call
it NCP, okay?) and received two error messages one right after the other
without me doing anything. They were:

Can't open NCP because an older version is already running.

Close the NCP that is currently running, then try again.

and then,

The NCP extension cannot be created

Possible reasons include:
Version mismatch. Reinstalling display drivers may solve the problem.

As you can imagine I have no idea how to close the NCP and then what do you
do about a "version mismatch".

I will wait until we figure this one out before pursuing the raggedy print
and another issue I have with javascript. This monitor thing is the
primary part of my life that's driving me crazy.

Holly
