Okay, I have two monitors with the primary on the left and the secondary on the right as it was before. The only things that aren't the same is the resolution distorts the screen so, for example the Firefox icon is not round. When I first installed the NVIDIA it was round but with the fooling around to get the two monitors separate and not showing the same thing I guess the resolution changed as well. What I'm going to do is wait and not do any more until I reboot and see what I have.
I use John's Background switcher and it's working now too so that's great. I'll let you know how it is tomorrow. Thanks so much, Donk. I will get back to you on the javascript thing but I'm not really sure if the problem is still there because I haven't noticed it during all of this.
