Great.

And while you're at it, could you add a clear link path from the Lewes
Arms main page to the page with the ABCs? The way it is now forces me to
link directly to http://members.aol.com/LewesArmsFolk/Lewesfav.html in
the Free Sheet Music Directory, and I'm never really happy about doing that.

Any juicy details for us non British?

You're right. The matter of responsibility in the idealistic Internet
comunity (and in every other community based on voluntary work) is
rather complex, but basically the "stray kitten" principle applies. If
you take a stray kitten home, you'd better take good care of it. If you
volunteer for a job, you'd better do it - no matter how little there is
in it for you personally!

I think *everybody* involved in this discussion can honestly state that
they've done a fair job for the ABC community.

Well, yes, but you haven't always explained things too clearly. And,
more important, I can't honestly say you've been very tactful. And you
have done your own fair share of misunderstanding as well. Phil *never*
said he was opposed to the K:^f etc. idea because he was afraid people
would start using it!
Bryan, I agree to most of what you say, but I can't accept the way you
say it!

That being said, we can't blame one person for this unpleasant
situation. After all it takes two to start a fight (although I've been
told that rule doesn't always apply in Ireland ;)

I think that applies to musicians and programmers too.
