Hi Glenn, Several people are using the same login and I agree that it's a security nightmare. I believe that this is the source of all(if not most) the corruption at this site. For some reason Access has a problem with the same user in the same database at two different PC's both up and running :)
I've tried to convince management that everyone should have thier own login, but they don't want to. It costs $78 per person and we have a lot of temp labor. The database was down two days while I was trying to contact the administrator. Which cost is greater? It is very possible the users are using the fe directly. I am not on site, so I can't monitor what they are actually doing. I have the fe zipped on the server so they don't have ready access. On the desktop of the main computer they use is the entire fe unzipped. I have noticed that when a user has a form open a .ldb is created in both fe and be.
