Hi Avinash,
I understand your feelings, however, I must say the truth doesn't
change just because we are unaware of it. Attempts are being made to
make the tricolor accessible to VI people, especially by some
organizations in Bangaluru. And we don't have to be too resistant if
things like hoisting national flag on buildings like educational
institutions etc are being planned. I always felt very proud when I
saw tricolor being hoisted in my school and college. Remember there
are other students also there apart from VI students. One more thing,
it is not allowed to hoist the national flag on our houses except on
some special occasions like independence day, republic day etc and
many organizations have been demanding to allow the ordinary people
this right.
I think we should focus our energies on bringing positive change to
the society and our own lives as well.
