I think you didn't get my point. In my opinion for educated totally
blind individuals bank should extent banking facilities even if they
cannot sign. RBI guidelines  says that bank cannot equate totally
blind and  partially blind individuals with illiterate people just
because they make thumb impression instead of signature. Why we should
allow to take control of our situation? I'm against involving
relatives or known person in financial matters. Reasonable
accomodation doesn't means using fake signature. For totally blind
person signature mismatch is a big hurdle. We have to understand
everyone's limitation and implement a solution without compromising
with the rules and regulations.
