I agree since there is this tendency to think that only a visually 
challenged person will work on issues related to blindness. And that's not 
limited only to blindness. I had a job interview last week for example and 
my interviewer addressed me in her call letter as: "Dear M.S Adhimoolam". 
Since I am working on gender, she must have assumed that I will be a woman 
and she must have of course been shocked when she saw me.. By the way, I 
still got the job.
