(sorry of this deviance but I do hope we are discussion accessibility) While the BCCI were to pay money to DD in the early 80s to broadcast matches, the reverse has taken place with the governing body demanding crores of rupees from the broadcasters who want to make the most of the rights they have secured. Because of this, AIR hasn't been able to broadcast matches (online) while you can still get AIR's running commentaries in MW and FM frequencies.
