Hello all
I am afraid this thread is now moving towards off-topic.

If there isn't anything substantial to be added towards accessability, then this thread may be considered as closed.

Hi Sir - Don't you like The Hindu? Agreed that the editors too are humans
and therefore, they, too, are liable to mistakes. But I would humbly write
that the search for errors in The Hindu requires a great effort of the will.
I had the vocabulary feature in mind when I wrote that The Hindu is a
newspaper of the top order. It is original, and I feel that, it is better to
see for originality rather than reading crab or copycat newspapers. With
best wishes, Shadab Husain

Hello sir, What you said is sometimes correct. We should remember one
thing, Editors are also human beings. I think it is better to check
for whether the required news is suplied with adequade vocabulary or
not. Choose the best one for our interest.
With best regards,
Surya.

Hi Sir,

Thanks for your excellent reply.

Well, I too feel that the language of the newspapers should be easy so
that
everyone could understand it. But, there's a wide gap between easy
language
and poor language. For example, if a newspaper is erring while using 'ex'
and 'former', 'quit' and 'quitted', 'formulas' and 'formulae', 'murder'
and
'manslaughter' and so on, then it is a newspaper which has poor language.
I
too make mistakes - but spotting them in the newspapers is very bad.

I mentioned this here because I was afraid that I am being miscued. I am
sorry if I skirted from the topic.

With best wishes,
