Of course, I do agree with the reasoning -- that people who use scribes do lose marks (don't worry, I have lost the whole exam), that other category candidates do get extra marks and it doesn't make a difference in the knowledge levels. But my question is, if you were to mention mark concession to someone, don't you think there is a possibility that we (as a community) will be facing the accusation that we ask for too many cconcessions? When people don't consider giving us the chance to write exams using computers, which, in my opinion, is a pretty basic thing, then where is the question of giving more marks, especially if it means you are going to gain advantage over someone else. In my opinion, this doesn't rank amongst the most necessary of concessions which must be attained at any cost to gain parity with others.
