What I also found was that the voice of Swamiji, which is very solid
like a typical Bengali male, is a ccontrast to his soft and youthful
face!!

I heard it, too. I am not sure, taking into account the early noise, I
can't 
be sure. Anyway, I made some online search and found that recording
started 
in America in 1877. In 1893 it reached a commercial stage. Songs of 3
minute 
duration were recorded in cylinder records. This recording is of 35
minutes.
