Hi, 1. You need sighted assistance to photograph pages with a digital camera. The problem comes in aligning the document consistently and keeping it there. If you can solve that you will be good to go. Consider using a monopod to mount the camera. Lighting is another potential issue. Use a digital camera with an autofocus. 2. Your best option is to look at camera scanners such as the pearl.
