Dear Srini, Delhi High Court was among the first few Courts to give reservations to Blind/ Low Vision candidates in Judiciary after AICB took it up with them long time back. However, I am sad to say that we do not have a single Judge with blindness still!
I am happy to learn that we have visually impaired judges in Karnataka. I think, the posts on the following links might answer some of your queries on the subject: http://www.changemakers.com/groups/how-can-blind-visually-impaired-person-work-judge http://subhashvashishth.blogspot.in/2009/11/step-further-to-ensure-that-blind.html regards Subhash On 24 June 2013 23:13, Mohib Anwar Rafel <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi sir, if your first question is related to the working as a judge, > then the information with me is not reliable, but I know one person > who is from Haryana who has qualified last year haryana judicial > services and working as a civil judge junior devision, he is a low > vision.
