I feel as an immediate and temporary relief, service providers can
atleast make the channel number and channel name be announced in voice
along with the display of the same on screen as it appears on screen
for a few seconds normally. Hope this is not a tedious job for the
service providers as it is to do with the software and it can be
updated as usually how the software is updated on our DTH setup box
once in a few months atleast for those who request.
In future all the features can be made in voice through the same
software in such a way while displaying can read and hope this may not
be expensive as it is to do only with software and nothing with
hardware.
