------- Comment #49 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-07-23 00:14 ------- It looks like this still needs a little adjustement: the fan stops on startup if appropriate but doesn't start automatically after the threshold is reached (55C). It is needed to launch: echo 3 > /proc/acpi/fan/FAN1/state;echo 0 > /proc/acpi/fan/FAN1/state After this it is working as expected i.e. fan is turning on and off as it should. If at startup the processor is heated and the fan doesn't need to be stopped then it is working correctly. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
