   According to your description it seems very weird. 
   Will you please enable CONFIG_ACPI_DEBUG in kernel configuration and add the
boot option of "acpi.debug_layer=0x04010004 acpi.debug_level=0x08000017"?
   After the temperature reaches the threshold,  please attach the output of
dmesg.
   Of course the patch and boot option are also required.
