Thank you! The database you emailed works, and I was able to figure out my problem. If I open and save the file with wordpad, it must strip out the line ending in the VirtualHosts.ini? At that point the virtual host feature breaks and even if I replace the file back again with a "good" copy, it will not work unless I restart 4D. This was really perplexing me as it seemed I was randomly breaking your example database, and couldn't fix it! I'd give up, start over and it would "magically" start working again!
Not sure if this is a changed behavior between version 4.5 and 5, but I've never previously worried about what program I used to edit the virtualhosts.ini file with. I guess lesson learned for me, and I've changed my settings to us e as the .ini editor. Thanks for your patience helping me figure out the problem. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Virtual-Host-Problem-tp26628800p26702640.html Sent from the Active4D mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Active4D-dev mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.aparajitaworld.com/mailman/listinfo/active4d-dev Archives: http://mailman.aparajitaworld.com/archive/active4d-dev/
