Thank you!  The database you emailed works, and I was able to figure out my
problem.  If I open and save the file with wordpad, it must strip out the
line ending in the VirtualHosts.ini?  At that point the virtual host feature
breaks and even if I replace the file back again with a "good" copy, it will
not work unless I restart 4D.  This was really perplexing me as it seemed I
was randomly breaking your example database, and couldn't fix it!  I'd give
up, start over and it would "magically" start working again!

Not sure if this is a changed behavior between version 4.5 and 5, but I've
never previously worried about what program I used to edit the
virtualhosts.ini file with.  I guess lesson learned for me, and I've changed
my settings to us e as the .ini editor.  Thanks for your patience helping me
figure out the problem.
