That is what I need to know and explains some of the problems we are having. The path that is passed from A4D to the 4D method that uses CREATE FOLDER is URL style and not native. The 4D method actually replaces /'s with the platform directory separator. I guess it is only by chance that get root on the 4D 2003 system includes the needed volume information.
