Every path you tested up to the web root should fail: "For security reasons, all paths are checked to ensure they are either within the web root directory or within one of the directories specified by the “safe doc dirs” option in Active4D.ini." That's why you are getting "locked" back. I'm not sure why the web root is failing. Try converting back to URL format and see what happens.
