Hi

Now that this has been established as a 4D bug, I only have this to add . . .

Today, a runtime error appeared on the 4D Data Server which may or may not be related, but I've a feeling it is, since the only 4D Client is the web server. The 4D Data Server session monitor displayed the runtime error below, with french commentary in the method text (apparently the session monitor is written in 4D).

After a few 'continues' the data server crashed - apparently due to being out of memory. This is after about 33 days of server up time and about 16 4D Client restarts. There is [almost] no code running on the server - 1 trigger that has worked for years and a tiny bit of startup code.

Aparajita - do you have any insights into this issue ? Is it possible that when we restart the client, it's not letting go of server resources (e.g. web processes) ?

Are you aware of whether 4D already know about this ? I'm about to prepare a bug report for 4D but I'd like to make it as easy for them as poss to reproduce.

Best Regards

Peter
