Hi to everyone.

I've just purchased Active4D and I'm in the process of integrating it into
my 4D v12 database running on a Windows XP.

I've ran into a weird problem:

I used to start 4D server together with my database, by double clicking the
database structure file.

This leads to the following error in the Active4D log:

enc: FAIL:ICU init failed (U_FILE_ACCESS_ERROR)
plugin: the plugin has been deactivated

And as it says, Active4D is not working.

If I first start 4D server without a database and then open the structure
file from 4D server's the open file dialog, Active4D initializes fine
without this error.

Unfortunately I get the same ICU init failed error, when I register 4D
server as a service in Windows and start it from there. Thus I can't have 4D
server start itself automatically any more in case of a crash or reboot.

Has anyone seen this issue in his installation of Active4D as well. And if
so, what is your workaround to run 4D server as a service in Windows XP?

Peter
