Jason, I had this problem as well. After all the TechNet articles didn't help, I had to resort to the ADSIedit tool. From there you can drill down your AD tree and delete the entries manually.
Good luck. -----Original Message----- From: Jason Benway [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 03, 2002 10:54 AM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: [ActiveDir] removing NT 'BDC' from users and computers We are currently running ADS with about 4 NT BDC still. We've taken 2 old NT BDC offline for good. But they still show up in AD users and computers in the domain controllers OU. I've tried just right clicking and deleting them, but I get an error. The DSA object cannot be deleted. I've looked though technet and it was pointing me toward Ntdsutil, but It doesn't seem to be able to do anything with downlevel servers. Anyone have any ideas?
