I meant contestable funding for individual artists. Insofar as it is raining money, we don't need an umbrella group. I don't really think its a perfect system, but it is the kind of nudge that we need to give CNZ. I don't expect it to alter their course much, but to maybe hold it against the sway of the big organisations pushing their own cases. In other words, I think ADA should act as an artists' union in this situation, not just another sector player.
