I'd like to include myself in the Avoid Endless Debate group as well.
To me, CLUE is about Linux in Canada (to be simplistic).

If the details of advocacy are holding up any further development of
the site, then may I suggest we have an additional webpage at
linux.ca, titled "Advocacy" with the following written on the page:
"To Be Decided".

Otherwise, I fear we are once again digressing into a
honeytrap of overly-academic, largely theoretical debates that will
get CLUE nowhere (though perhaps enlightening some of us
individually).

Also, I don't think the first key to CLUE's rejuvenation should be
political.  I'd rather see a really well-designed, well-utilised
website - a banner, if you will, for the various LUG's in Canada to be
loosely represented under - than immediately aspiring to embrace an
active political/philosophical stance.
