I dont know why your movie won't play..as far as learning there are a variety of options, books, courses, learn by trial and error, web site tutorials. This group can help you when you hit a wall but obviously teaching the program is beyond the means of this group IMHO. If you want to learn the program overnight a simpler video software like windows movie maker may be more suitable.
