I found Encore 1 to be too buggy to even be released, but I haven't encountered any bugs in 1.5.1 so I guess I am lucky. I just find it difficult, bloated and really non-intuitive. - RJ's are the best alarmclocks

Dear Everyone, I'm sorry, I can't write to each of you individually, but our family counselor said it was important to get this letter out to everyone as quickly as possible. It's sad that we have to send a message like this. We realize that almost all of you who gave money to Little Jay gave it in good faith, but please, DO NOT loan Jay Junior any more money. Jay Junior wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone. He just wanted to be certain that he was getting enough foods from the Meat Group. The meat that can be returned, will be. The meat that has already gone bad, Jay Junior will pay for out of his own pocket. All of your money will be returned. Sincerely, Viv. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Boom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2005 10:04 PM Subject: Re: [AP] Re: Adobe Encore I'll second those who say to stay away from Adobe Encore if at all possible. Version 1.0 was incredibly buggy and crashed regularly. I thought that version 1.5 would be an improvement, but it's not -- even after upgrading to 1.51. It refuses to import my 1.0 files because they have subtitles and for some reason 1.51 can't adapt them without encountering "abnormal conditions" and crashing. Pretty lame. If you go to the web site and check out the Encore forum under "Subtitles" you'll hear a lot of people gnashing teeth and rending garments, all the while cursing Adobe. They just don't work. Adobe should be ashamed of Encore. I'm ashamed that I stuck with it and have now lost a lot of work in the upgrade. Mike Boom Yahoo! Groups Links ------------------------ Yahoo!
