I was at a Matrox seminor yesterday that they are selling their new product Axio and RTX2. They keep showing functionality of Premiere Pro 2. A lot of the effects they show has a red line above the time line which means they are not real time and need rendering. The presenter doesn't know why that happen but saying these effects are accelerated but not Realtime. Then I asked isn't that RT in RTX2 means Real Time. People laughed and that was the end of the conversation.
Anyway, the presenter was using a pen tablet instead of a mouse. I understand many artists will find it useful to draw instead of a mouse.
