If you have a camera that has analogue in connection then it is possible to
connect the old 8mm camera ti the digital destination and record that way. Also
some dgital 8mm cameras would allow you to play an analogue 8mm tape and output
to PC via the DV out, although it is not possible to control the camera through
the PC
