the red line means everything has not rendered completely, but it
previews well enogh that you can see what you are doing - thus the rough
playback.
When you are ready hit the enter key and everything under the work area
bar will render. PB will thereafter be smooth and the red line gone. Be
sure to include the entire thing in the work area bar if you want to
render the entire show
