Hi Lee,

Thanks for the explanation of the dual "Program Files" folders-- sounds 
like a further bit of Vista insanity.  I've been using PCs since '83, 
and well remember when each new advance in DOS was hailed as "the future 
of computing"-- while there are those who passionately disagree, I truly 
consider Vista to be the single most godawful OS Microsoft has ever 
produced.  Unfortunately, with my two newest laptops I was given no 
choice. 

We can only hope that they're hard at work on a decent successor, and 
will quickly put Vista out of our misery, as they did with their last 
major OS embarrassment, "Windows ME".
