Open the case and have a look. If the card is in a white slot it's PCI.
If it's in a brown slot, further from the back of the box than the PCI slots,
it's AGP. (PCI Express slots are shorter in height above the board than ISA,
PCI or AGP slots.)
The slot types aren't always those standard colors, some motherboard makers
have used various odd colors (especially fluorescent ones) on a few boards for
people who like to cut holes in the case and install lights.
If you want pictures, search Wikipedia for PCI and AGP.
*XP supports more than one AGP device but nobody ever made a board that could
support more than one active AGP device.
