Info about the Panasonic GH2 crop mode: http://www.eoshd.com/content/457-Panasonic-GH2-1-1-crop-mode-changes-everything-again
(not to confuse with digital zoom, this crop mode is much better) Sample video: <http://vimeo.com/17217169>http://vimeo.com/17217169 This crop mode changes your sensor size from almost 35mm to 16mm resulting in doubling the focal length of your lens but also doubling your depth of field, in other words, the focussed range will be much larger. For wildlife videography this is perfect. Buy an old Canon or Nikon 400mm or 600mm prime and attach it to your GH2 using a lens adapter and shoot at 800 or 1200mm. I also like this crop mode for indoor studio work with 25-50mm lenses. With a 35mm sensor, depth of field can just be a bit too small from time to time. The crop mode solves this problem.
