I was following the Android Emulator Beta instructions <http://tools.android.com/tech-docs/emulator> on a Linux box (with an Intel i7 CPU).
At one point the instructions say: "Under the SDK Tools tab, select ... Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM installer)". That option does not appear in the SDK Tools Tab. I tried "Launch Standalone SDK Manager" to see if that would give more info, and it *does* list "Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM installer)", but it says "Not compatible with Linux". I ignored that bit of the instructions and it seemed to work fine (I was at least able to get the emulator running) but this seems like a bug in the documentation. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "adt-dev" group.
