Let's hope so. I know I'll be more than a little cranky when / if I decide to move and I have to update my scripts to either include a new path, or, as I usually, do, update all the absolute paths so that I get the result I'm expecting. As a long time Solaris user, it would certainly annoy me, and at this stage, it is one of the things that's preventing me from really doing anything other than spinning up 2008.05 for a looksee. Then again, I guess I'm not the target of this, so it might be moot anyway. I just hope we have thought about how this will annoy folks when they 'join' the party for real and start purchasing S10 / support from Sun and find that it's all different. Watching with interest...
