Thanks Jim/Peter

So after reading [1] I have some questions..

"The process described here applies only to those projects seeking
recognition as OpenSolaris Community-sponsored work; any work which
takes place outside the Community is not considered."

Is our work, Belenix and Nexenta work entirely outside the OpenSolaris
Community-sponsored work? I don't think these projects use any
Sun/OpenSolaris resources afaik..

It's also pretty clear that [1] seems to be written by some lawyer. As
I understand it I should repost sponsorship of this project to
distribution-discuss including the information outlined in section 2.2
from [1] ? (I'll do this in a few minutes..)

One of my goals for doing this is so that "we" can get a booth at
CommunityOne.. (Aaron Houston's email - CommunityOne Lightening Talks
and .ORG Zone in the Pavilion (you can get your own table to recruit to
your non-profit organization))

I'm confident we can meet the pre-event promotion criteria and have good
people at the table. (I just wasn't sure sure if we had to be an
officially recognized group before I email Aaron?) I'm also eager to
give a lightening talk at CommunityOne and then later this summer at
OSCON. (I could do much more than a lightening talk, but I think the
schedule is full.)
