Hi ... Oh, Jive is way beyond being unstable at this point. :) We are going to replace it after Phase 2 of the website transition. Until then OSUGs are free to propose new groups and we can offer project spaces and mailing lists on the site (pending community voting and website/list usage policies, of course). Now, if OSUGs really want a web forum to communicate, that's fine. They can use Google or Yahoo or Facebook or whatever, and we are happy to link to that forum from Advocacy. Also, there is nothing preventing OSUGs from having a project space on opensolaris.org and a forum off of opensolaris.org. There are many combinations we can deal with. The vast majority of Communities, Projects, and User Groups on opensolaris.org use mailing lists to communicate now -- there are 376 lists and only 115 Jive forums.
