While I'm a very big advocate of open source and also working towards 
removing the closed binaries.  I almost find it ironic to mandate the 
site be driven by an open source solution when opensolaris still ships 
with non-OSI approved parts.  (I guess one step at a time..)

As managing a smaller scale, but similar community I have a laundry list 
of feedback and quite interested to help out where I can.  I know one of 
the sub/side projects for Wikipedia may have (had?) similar requirements 
a while ago.  I can ping the developer and inquire what progress has 
been made.  One of the first things that comes to mind is supporting 
openid for auth.opensolaris.org. (maybe I missed this?) I can make more 
detailed notes later if desired.
