I have noticed that OpenBSD.org doesn't offer up a torrent as a way to obtain the install ISO's or other files. I have found that the quickest way to download a large ISO of certain other operating systems is by the torrent on their site. Sure, there are third party torrents. Sure, I could ensure that the file I download hasn't been tampered with via some sort of hash. I still think that an official torrent would not only benefit OpenBSD users, but also benefit OpenBSD itself in the form of reduced bandwidth costs.
Or am I missing something where distributing your operating system (to include the expected hash result) via P2P is somehow insecure? Respectfully Submitted, R. Toby Richards Network Administrator Superior Court of California In and for the County of San Luis Obispo (805) 781-4150
