Oh I don't think that, Derek. I've seen many a dog I thought was considerably
smarter than its "master".
Throw out my bit about Pavlov's dog if you like -- and pity all the
psychologists and neurologists who study animals to see what we can learn about
human
learning, memory, conditioned response, associative response, etc. Stick to
the farmhands; they serve my purpose.
