The world has not been overrun by them precisely for the reason I
gave.  It is an illusion.  And it's not a question of claiming credit
for achievements they have never written. Only a fraud would do that.
It's a question of believing that "I have the great
American/Australian/Canadian novel in me just poised to get out. If
only I could find the right words .."  That is not how it happens -
except in Hollywood movies.
