Read more carefully. I wrote, "Beauty in artworks ... can be found in ... elements that appeal ... more to intellectual engagement." That modal, "can": Beauty can appeal to intellectual engagement. Can. A possibility. Not a definitive "is" or "is not" more of anything.
"How does intellectual engagement differ from all the other kinds?" What are they? Which ones are you thinking of?
