I dunno. I've been using a chromebook exclusively for the last couple of weeks. It does everything I need and more. Biggest bonus is transparent updates & that I can pick up any old chromebook and get to my stuff.
I also turned on Linux, so I can run a few Linux apps along side everything else. It's also at least 3X faster than an equivalent Windows box. Liking it more every day. -- bp part15sbs{at}gmail{dot}com On Wed, Jan 16, 2019 at 3:15 PM Jason McKemie < j.mcke...@veloxinetbroadband.com> wrote: > > https://www.amazon.com/CHROMEBIT-Stick-Desktop-RockChip-3288-C-LPDDR3L/dp/B0181JTPCU > > For the price difference the Windows 10 stick seems like a better option > to me though. > > On Wed, Jan 16, 2019 at 4:01 PM Bill Prince <part15...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> I saw something about an $86 chrome stick that will plug into the HDMI >> port just a day or two ago. >> >> -- >> bp >> part15sbs{at}gmail{dot}com >> >> >> On Tue, Jan 15, 2019 at 3:46 PM SmarterBroadband <li...@sbb.net> wrote: >> >>> Chuck >>> >>> >>> >>> I use these. >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X4O6GRK?aaxitk=HsFrre9j0O.VoWtRPlvUUQ&pd_rd_i=B00X4O6GRK&pf_rd_p=3ff6092e-8451-438b-8278-7e94064b4d42&hsa_cr_id=3245557440901&sb-ci-n=productDescription&sb-ci-v=Quantum%20Access%20Windows%2010%20Mini%20PC%20Stick%2C%20Intel%20Baytrail-T%20(Quad-core)%20Z3735F%201.33GHz%2C%202GB%2F32GB&sb-ci-a=B00X4O6GRK >>> >>> >>> >>> Adam >>> >>> >>> >>> *From:* AF [mailto:af-boun...@af.afmug.com] *On Behalf Of *Chuck McCown >>> *Sent:* Saturday, January 12, 2019 4:24 PM >>> *To:* AnimalFarm Microwave Users Group <af@af.afmug.com> >>> *Subject:* Re: [AFMUG] OT Being lazy >>> >>> >>> >>> Had no idea they were this cheap.
