They complain about a lag of a few seconds in triggering video to their phone, which somehow they think must be an Internet problem. The Ring doorbells also seem to need a lot of upstream bandwidth, like >1 Mbps per camera, so that people with more than one of them can max out the upstream on their Internet connection. I'm not sure why you need to see the UPS guy's butt walking away from your door in 1080p high def. Maybe this is based on earlier generations of the Ring product and they have improved. One customer recently reported that the police had caught a burglar based on license plate info from a neighbor's Ring doorbell, so maybe that is more of a "ringing" endorsement.
