Mitch Koep is in the field attempting to installing one of my pole mounts onto a steel monopole with stainless bands. I personally have never used bands on a steel pole.
Any tips or pointers? Does he hammer the clip flat after bending the strap? He is trying it down at the base before hanging a bunch of expensive radios way up in the air and is having the strap slip. This is fairly time sensitive. I am sure Mitch would welcome a call if any of you have some experience with this. I suggested getting some rubber to put under the mount to increase friction.
