I just bought a new winch ( https://www.gmesupply.com/ab-chance-3000-lb-capacity-capstan-hoist) for tower work but to my surprise it does not have reverse, and it's painfully slow. Our old My-Te had reverse, ( https://myte.com/winch-hoist-models/product/300AB/?categories=3) I just thought it was a standard thing. It is really handy for lowering loads and getting them in just the right position. Our My-Te winch is 15 years old and has certainly paid for itself but it is due to be replaced. I would just get another My-Te but I would like a smidge more load capacity. What winch do you use? Any recommendations?
