Dennis, Using mikrotik routers.
Two MaxxWave x86 i5 8 core 10 years old v6.47.9 One CCR1072 v6.47.9 Yes taking full tables. Tried BFD while back. Didn't seem that my upstream was supporting it. Never established a session. Thinking I may need to start looking at new hardware and v7.
