Credit checks aren’t as expensive or bothersome as they used to be, but this is a good approach, too. One suggestion from a business standpoint is to give customers the option to pay the install costs up front or over time, with some small discount for doing it up front. Getting paid up front for the month, rather than in arrears, is pretty easy, even for existing customers.
