I found the Tyconpower models for AirFiber...
TP-DCDC-2456G-VHP (24 Input)
TP-DCDC-4856G-VHP (48 Input)
I have an outstanding ticket with Proxim to get their pinouts and
consumption levels. I am also asking them if they have a recommended (or
produce) a DC power supply option.
I like the SAF PoE injectors that have a DC-DC converter that will take
24V to 60V. I just do not know how they are powered or I would perhaps
use one of them for the Proxim.

I think Tycon actually makes one of those specifically for the
airFiber. I like using something like the Meanwell better, because
then if you add more 48v stuff later on, you're already setup for it.

I don’t know if AF24 uses standard 802.3af/at or proprietary and
how much power, but there are 802.3af/at POEs that can be powered
from 24V and convert to 48 or 56 volts internally, for example:

You could also check Netonix and WiFi Texas.
Or get yourself a Mean Well RSD-200B-48

BTW, nice to see Allied carrying more Mean Well stuff.

You either need to switch 'Site 2' to use a 48V battery plant, or
use a DC-DC converter to convert 24V to 48V in order to power your
AF24.

Thank you for your response. I think my question did not go
deep enough.
Here are some issue I have...
1. I do not know if what PoE standards are used by the
different radios. As I am doing my research, I am seeing that
there are 2 standards 802.3af (2 pairs providing power?) and
802.3at (All 4 pairs providing power?).
2. I have 2 test sites that I am using to determine what I am
going to roll out to other sites.
a. Site 1 has a 48V power plant and a device like yours
looks like it could work (site has a proxim radio).
b. Site 2 has a 24V power plant (site has a AF24 radio).
My SAF radios come with power injectors that allow me to input
24V or 48V and output 48V to the radios allowing me to use
those with different power plants. My site 2 needs a power
supply that can take the 24V input and bump it before putting
it on the line.

Subject: [AFMUG] GigE DC PoE Injectors
I am moving many of my sites to DC Power Plants and need
to find DC PoE
injectors for the following radios...
Proxim Tsunami QB-8200 (I believe the pinouts are the same
as a SAF
licensed radio)
Ubiquit airFiber 24
These radios are all 48V input and I am looking for
injectors to power
them that will accept both 48V and/or 24V inputs. Does
anyone have any
suggestions?
