No, I would like to make the SMA connectors be the physical mount for the feed.
So they are the support and mount. Cables and such a PITA to incorporate into
manufacturing.

I will keep thinking about it.

The pigtails? What about doing it like a force 110 feedhorn?

  RPSMA? Ya

Trango started it, Ubnt did it, Mikrotik kinda followed suit, ePMP does it...

Right but not at all of us are replacing an FSK radio with a $200-400
radio...we're using a $99.

      I would just swap to a Force110 or 200 when it's available. We're doing

Many people will migrate from FSK to EPMP and the current process
is not efficient at all

Is it a new customer? Force 110 with a connectorized radio
Is it a new customer that wants a reflector? Use the
connectorized radio

Is it a customer with Canopy+Dish? Use the connectorized radio

Integrated radio would be for customers that are really close and
could hear multiple sectors.

Enabling you to use the reflectors already there and simply
swap radios would be fantastic. I'm sure there are many going from FSK to epmp.

Last winter or spring.

The holdup was waiting for a tiny radome. I think I designed
the thermoform mold but never got any samples or something like that. Could
still finish that project I guess.

just to clarify, we DO NOT want a epmp integrated holder!
check the sketch

We can do this. Whose dish and what frequency?
We have a holder now for ePMP for our current dishes. It
fits some of the others I think.

Our older dishes had a D tube with a piece of bent conduit
welded into it. The SM snapped into place. Hard to do some thing for them.

Later we had the rectangular tubing with the claw snap fit.
Our current ePMP holder should work with those.

                    Chuck

As we migrate Canopy to epmp, we find ourselves wishing for
this:

-Epmp holder for conn. epmp radio with illumination
feedhorn for traditional dishes

The idea would be that instead of replacing the whole
canopy radio+dish with a Force110 unit, it would be more efficient to just
remove the Canopy radio and reuse the dish with a conn. radio

I think that we could pay $25-$30 for something like this.
