The S20P is much more costly to purchase than a string composed of 12V 180Ah off-grid type AGM batteries. However, it's supposed to have a 10+ year lifespan if you cycle from 100% SOC down to 60-70% daily in an off grid applications. Also very high temperature tolerant unlike lead acid.
